As the 2017 customer service week ends, customers and employees of Nigeria's leading independent petroleum marketing firm, Fatgbems Petroleum Company limited have commended the initiative behind the company's celebration of the week this year.
The company in its drive to appreciate her customers, designed an activation that reached out to over 1000 customers with gifts besides rewarding some outstanding customer service officers of the organization.
The activation which spread across already rebranded stations had the directors and top management team attending the flag-off and other points of activation which include Berger, Aseese, Cele, Dalemo, Igbala and Oju-Ore retail outlets. One of the highlights of the week was selected service rendered to customers by the directors and other management staff of the company.
Speaking at the flag-off and presentation of the certificate of excellence, Chairman of Fatgbems Group, Mr. Kabir Gbemisola, disclosed that, the company has found it worthy to celebrate her customers as they form vital part of the existence and success of the company. He said 'our customers which consist of both internal and external customers are the reason we have the company up and running'.
Mr. Gbemisola added that, the company is ready to upscale its customer service efforts as innovative ideas will be implemented in the next few months to appreciate customers in a bigger way.
In his own remarks, One of the customers who participated in the activation at Cele-Ijesha retail outlet, Mr. Babs Adeboyejo, applauded the rebranding drive of the company. Saying, Fatgbems has not only rebranded physically has shown that it is ready to compete in the oil and gas industry with customer service idea. It is also a way to make a statement of commitment to the customers which will in the long-run add value to the company.
One of Nigeria's leading petroleum marketing firm, Fatgbems Petroleum Company Limited last weekend won The Bikers Converge merit award at the just concluded annual Bikers convention that took place in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.
Bikers Converge is a yearly gathering organized to foster unity and encourage safety attitude among various bikers associations in Nigeria and other West African countries. The three day event which had in attendance over 400 bikers had riders from Ghana, Togo and other parts of Nigeria was flag-off by former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Speaking at the award Night, President Bikers Converge, Mr. Ogundimu Adeola, disclosed that, the event is not about biking for adventure or transportation it is about promoting tourism in Nigeria and most especially to show case the natural gift of nature in the ancient town of Abeokuta. The occasion also provides an avenue for bike sports to be spiced with fashion and entertainment. Latest brands of machines in town were showcased at the event as well.
Ogundimu added that, the event could not have been possible without the support of the sponsors and the partnership the group has been enjoying since inception.
He applauded Fatgbems Petroleum for the prompt response despite the short notice to the company and the value added to the 2017 edition of the converge. 'The award is to show appreciation for the selflessness of the company and its commitment to development in Nigeria as bikers converge continue to push beyond the immediate frontier and position to continue to foster higher courses in the nearer future' he added.
Commenting on the award, Chief Operation Officer, Fatgbems Petroleum, Mr. Dare Adeola disclosed that the award is a way to reaffirm the company' commitment to development. He further noted that after the rebranding, his company has decided to support ideas that will not only create avenue to give back, but promote development as bikers converge is specifically designed to promote tourism in the country.
Mr. Adeola also restated his company's commitment to bikers converge as it is not just a partnership but an adoption that will be extended to a much high frontiers in the next edition.

The event include participation at the organized Labour union match past, games and awards.
The 2017 workers day event which coincide with Lagos at 50 celebration witnessed massive turnout of various workers union at the match past that took place at Agege stadium.

Mr. Dare further noted that, the sponsorship of RATTAWU workers day activities is in line with his brand's vision and adherence to the belief in the importance of Nigerian workers in nation building. In his comments, Chairman, Rattawu Lagos State Chapter, Mr. Dare Durosimi, applauded the gesture of Fatgbems Petroleum in supporting not just Rattawu members but the Voice of Nigeria work force in propagating a better welfare. He enjoined corporate organizations to emulate the effort of Fatgbems Petroleum in supporting activities that would encourage Nigerian workers.
In this fun filled atmosphere, elated members challenged themselves to games like ayo, olopon, ludo, draft, chess game and table tennis where voice of Nigeria emerged over all winner of the games. The National troupe and Nigerian Arts and Culture group presented a stage play titled balance to communicate the yarning of Nigerian labour. It highlighted front burner issues like a unified minimum wages and unremitted pension deduction. While Lagos State cultural group thrilled audience with high live tunes.
Some past chairmen and notable members were recognized for their outstanding contribution to the development of the union and other activities around the labour force in Nigeria.

In line with her goal of giving back to the society, especially the communities where the organization operates, Fatgbems Petroleum, a leading player in Nigeria's oil marketing sector, recently organized a special visit to the Nigerian Red Cross Motherless and Abandoned Children in Makoko, Lagos.
The special visit which was part of her CSR programme, took place on May 27th, to mark the 2017 children' day. The visiting Fatgbems Petroleum Team was led by The Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Dare Adeola. Other members of the delegation include the Brand Manager Mr. Adeosun Azeez and Human Resources Assistant, Mrs. Fatimah Liasu.
On ground to receive the visiting Fatgbems team were the Acting Matron of the home, Ms. Taiwo Idowu, The Care Giver, Mrs. Yinusa Comfort and hundreds of smiling kids who could not hide their joy and excitement when loads of provisions and food items were presented by the visitors from Fatgbems to their home.
Before the formal presentation of the items, the team from Fatgbems Petroleum interacted with the children, charted and played some games with them. Speaking during the formal presentation, The Chief Operating Officer of Fatgbems Petroleum, Mr. Dare Adeola commended the efforts of The Red Cross team in effectively taking care of the emotional and material needs of children in their custody and promised to give more assistance in future.
He also advised the kids to be humble and hardworking, especially in their studies to ensure that they achieve success in Future.
Responding, the Acting Matron of the home, Ms. Taiwo Idowu expressed great and sincere appreciation to the team from Fatgbems for their visit and donations. She promised to make good use of the gift to the benefit of all the children.
