Nigerian' leading indigenous Independent Petroleum Marketing Company, Fatgbems Petroleum Company Limited has commissioned new ultra-modern retail stations in Awoyaya in Lagos and Adedotun in Abeokuta, Ogun State. This is in line with the company's goals of expanding its value chain and optimizing its customer base.
The event which was described by many industry analysts as keeping to the company's brand promise was attended by dignitaries from all works of life including Ogun State House Assembly Speaker, Hon. Suraju Adekunbi, Representative of Paramount ruler of Iwerekun land, Otunba Muniru Elemoro, Executive Secretary, Deport and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria, Mr Olufemi Adewole, Chairman Lagos Chapter of NUPENG, Alhaji Tokunbo Korodo, Senior Management Staff of the company, their Families and friends.
Speaking at the commissioning, Chief Operating Officer, Fatgbems Group Mr Dare Adeola, stated that, the company, strongly believes that Nigerians and Nigerian companies can compete with the best in the world if given the opportunity. He spoke further:" This is a point that has been amply demonstrated by our history as a business entity. And having benefited from a robust and positively impactful regulatory environment through federal government policies, we believe we also have a responsibility to create opportunities for Nigerians to develop their capacity."
He added that, they have re-positioned the company to become a leader in the oil and gas services sector in Nigeria sealing relationships across all frontiers and building trans-border relationships in business. "Our core values of Customer Service, Leadership, Integrity, Innovation, Health & Safety and Environmental Responsibility have never in any way been eroded in any of the of the Stations so far rebranded and commissioned in the last ten months" he stressed .
Commenting further the Chief Operating officer said "'as we are here, to commission the Awoyaya station, Adedotun Station in Abeokuta has equally commenced full operations. It is fully back in operation to add to others which include Dalemo, Oju-Ore and Igbala service Stations in Ogun State. In the next few months, the prime Station called IBB shall soon be the cynosure as the rubbles shall give way to a better, more innovative service centered Station.

In his remarks, Ogun State House of Assembly Speaker, Hon Suraju Adekunbi, commended the management of Fatgbems Petroleum for their prowess in spreading across the country, thereby creating employment for Nigerians and contributing to economic growth.
Executive Secretary, Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria, Mr Olufemi Adewole, applauded Fatgbems quest to expand its value chain and the drive to reposition and compete in the industry. He enjoined the company not to lose focus of customer service and consistently give the customers values they desire.

As the 2017 customer service week ends, customers and employees of Nigeria's leading independent petroleum marketing firm, Fatgbems Petroleum Company limited have commended the initiative behind the company's celebration of the week this year.
The company in its drive to appreciate her customers, designed an activation that reached out to over 1000 customers with gifts besides rewarding some outstanding customer service officers of the organization.
The activation which spread across already rebranded stations had the directors and top management team attending the flag-off and other points of activation which include Berger, Aseese, Cele, Dalemo, Igbala and Oju-Ore retail outlets. One of the highlights of the week was selected service rendered to customers by the directors and other management staff of the company.
Speaking at the flag-off and presentation of the certificate of excellence, Chairman of Fatgbems Group, Mr. Kabir Gbemisola, disclosed that, the company has found it worthy to celebrate her customers as they form vital part of the existence and success of the company. He said 'our customers which consist of both internal and external customers are the reason we have the company up and running'.
Mr. Gbemisola added that, the company is ready to upscale its customer service efforts as innovative ideas will be implemented in the next few months to appreciate customers in a bigger way.
In his own remarks, One of the customers who participated in the activation at Cele-Ijesha retail outlet, Mr. Babs Adeboyejo, applauded the rebranding drive of the company. Saying, Fatgbems has not only rebranded physically has shown that it is ready to compete in the oil and gas industry with customer service idea. It is also a way to make a statement of commitment to the customers which will in the long-run add value to the company.
